Design skills are one thing, being able to connect with people and match their vision with user needs is another. Alban Vogel is here to take you through this journey.

I recommend Alban for his design and project management skills. I had the pleasure of working with him at the ICRC, where he worked on a variety of projects involving graphic design, design thinking and the recruitment of designers.

Alban is a talented and creative designer. He is also an excellent project manager, and he is always receptive to feedback. He is a valuable collaborator and an asset to any team.

I worked with Alban on multiple projects in Cleverdist and it was always a pleasure. He can learn fast and is open to feedback. That makes him a great team member for various projects since he quickly adapts and aligns with developers.

PS: I am not a UX/CG expert, but when I see Alban working with tablet and his magical pen, it looks impressive!

Alban was working at Cleverdist before I arrived, and was one of the first to make me feel welcome in the company! He is a great colleague — very organized, caring, and positive. In the projects where we worked together he was actively supporting the developers with his expertise in UX design. It was amazing to see how fast he can turn requirements into a mockup that could be used for UI development.

I was particularly impressed to see that he can quickly learn concepts related to software architecture. Additionally, his interest in learning how programmers work and think added a lot of value to both UX and software. I learned a lot about design thinking from Alban and I am confident in recommending him as a versatile and experienced product designer.

I have worked with Alban for about a year during our time at Cleverdist where we worked using variety of technologies some of them were proprietary. Despite no previous exposure, Alban was quick to understand the capabilities and adapt to the limitations of the technologies and managed to provide our users with smooth and attractive user experience.

He has also shown great mastery of tools and methods of the UI/UX ecosystem and provided the team with necessary tools for UX design such as design thinking and design sprint. Apart from all that, Alban is a nice personality to be around. He is friendly, funny, and caring of his colleagues.

About

I make complex concepts legible and useful — from first intention to shipped product.

I came out of HEAD – Genève, the Geneva School of Art and Design, with a bachelor's in graphic design, and started out in the city — posters, identities, packaging, brand guidelines. In 2016 I co-founded prim+tive near Lausanne, a small studio working for municipalities, institutions and the Swiss Confederation, where I also ran design-thinking courses and workshops.

Then the work moved from surfaces to systems. At Cleverdist I was the only designer in a team of fifteen, responsible for every design question in the startup and building product dashboards for industry 4.0 — oil, pharma, food. At the ICRC I learned what design owes an institution that answers to people in crisis. At Quanthome I led design for three years, then took product ownership in 2026.

So I now hold the whole chain of making digital products, from the first conversation about intent to the shipped feature. What has stayed constant is the material: complex data that matters — financial, environmental, humanitarian — and the craft of making it legible enough that someone can act on it.
